Today, I am excited to introduce to you the newest member of the Bernard family. Baby Phoenix joins his sisters Avery and Karter.
When Theresa messaged me asking if I would photograph her baby boy, I just couldn’t say no. Almost two years ago I had the honor to photograph their second daughter, Karter.
I vividly remember how beautiful this family is, and how well behaved their two year old Avery was during our newborn session. Without hesitation, I agreed to be their newborn photographer, with the requirement that I would also photograph their Family Maternity Session.
We photographed the family during a beautiful glowing sunset. The session began with a family portrait that included the girls dressed in adorable white sunset dresses. I was incredibly excited to see Karter as an adorable toddler. Avery was as sweet and well behaved as I remembered, and we breezed thru their family poses.
We then proceeded to capture some Mommy and Me poses of the girls and their gorgeous mama. Theresa was glowing, and I couldn't believe how perfect she looked just one week shy of giving birth.
Finally we couldn't end their family session without a portrait of the couple and one of Mama holding her belly. Capturing these special moments and milestones is such an amazing honor, and truly am so grateful to be able to be a part of such milestones.
The Newborn session was then schedule for five days after his birthday. Their session features a special portrait of Phoenix and dad embracing and sharing a football. This gesture being extra special because dad is the Quaterback for the Kansas City Phatoms.
I had the honor of documenting their growing family and hope that you enjoy their photographs as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
Newborn sessions need to be schedule during your third trimester to ensure that the photographer has the availability. You want to schedule your session for between 5 to 10 days old
